FRP/GRP Water Tank
Introduction
FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) water tanks are modular storage systems assembled from high-quality SMC (Sheet Molding Compound) panels. The panels are manufactured using food-grade resin, ensuring excellent water quality, corrosion resistance, and long service life.
Key Features
- Food-grade resin material for safe and hygienic water storage
- Lightweight structure for easy transportation and installation
- Excellent corrosion resistance with no rust or leakage
- Spherical reinforced panel design for improved strength
- Good thermal insulation performance
- Easy cleaning, maintenance, and management

Product Advantages
Superior Corrosion Resistance
FRP materials are highly resistant to corrosion, making the tank suitable for water storage as well as acid and alkali environments.
Hygienic and Safe Water Storage
The use of food-grade resin ensures clean, non-contaminated water, suitable for potable water applications.
Lightweight and Easy Installation
Compared with steel or concrete tanks, FRP tanks have a much lower weight, reducing structural load and simplifying installation.
Long Service Life
The tank structure is durable and resistant to environmental factors, providing reliable long-term performance.
Flexible Modular Structure
The tank is assembled from standardized panels, allowing easy transportation, installation, disassembly, and capacity expansion.
Low Maintenance Cost
Smooth internal surfaces and simple structure make cleaning and maintenance more convenient and cost-effective.

Technical Parameters
Panel Sizes
- 1 m × 1 m
- 1 m × 0.5 m
- 0.5 m × 0.5 m
Foundation Requirements
Base Frame
- Reinforced concrete strip foundation or steel beam foundation (I-beam)
- Level difference of foundation surface: ≤ 5 mm
- Foundation layout must match the tank base dimensions
- Adequate maintenance space should be reserved:
- ≥ 800 mm around the tank
- ≥ 500 mm above and below the tank
Installation Notes
- Ensure proper sealing and water-tightness during installation
- After installation, fill the tank with water and perform a 24-hour leakage test
- Provide power supply and water source for on-site installation and inspection
- Ventilation system with air filter should be installed on the tank top
Application
- Residential buildings and housing complexes
- Commercial buildings and offices
- Hotels, schools, and public institutions
- Firefighting water storage systems
- Industrial water supply systems
- Cooling water and circulating water systems
- Acid and alkali liquid storage
